Beat the pneumonia!

No more pneumonia

Okay. I’m back (mostly). The pneumonia hit me hard. My energy is still a bit lower than usual but I’m feeling a lot better. I’m driving, eating, writing, oh yeah… and breathing again.

Wow. I hadn’t had pneumonia before. I even had to look up how to spell it! It’s a relief to know the leukemia didn’t stop my body from repairing itself.

I’m writing my book again and making plans for the future. It’s good to feel like I have a future. I wasn’t sure there for awhile. So for now I keep on keeping on and continue to hope for the best.

I’m glad. The cold hit me and The Shelton Boy. It just hangs on. Don’t think it is the flu. Although Aunt Helen, Uncle Dick and whole family came down with it Christmas. 3 weeks sick as a dog I guess. Nellie

Hi Nellie. Good to hear from you. Sorry you’re sick too. How are Helen and Dick doing? At their age it’s a bit of a worry, although they’re the youngest, toughest ninety-somethings I know.
